Cancellation of membership

Representative

• Membership of a representative can be cancelled for the coming year before december 1st of the running year by email to the secretary
• If a representative changes function within the organisation, or no longer works for the organisation, he/she may be replaced by another person of the organisation with immediate effect

Company/organisation

• Membership for a company/institute can be cancelled for the coming year before december 1st of the running year by email to the secretary

1) Membership fee includes attendance of the general meetings by at most 2 representatives per member; for 3rd and following representatives a surcharge will be required.
2) Should membership commence after 31^st of october and no general meeting is scheduled for the remainder of the year, a membership fee is due only starting the next calendar year.
3) Upon request, to be addressed to the board according article 6.7 of the articles of association
4) Upon request, to be addressed to the board as soon as the new situation rises (retirement or dismissal without continuation of patent information specialist activities as an independent professional).
